Study Packages

The Greenleaf way of teaching history to children is to start at the beginning, cover the subject chronologically, and use biographies and living books.

The first topics to cover with children (or high schoolers!) are the Ancient Civilizations of Israel, Egypt, Greece, & Rome. There are Greenleaf study packages for each one. They can be adapted for use as a full year's study (add a few additional biographies or works of historical fiction), or as short as a half a semester (about 9 weeks).

The last two packages on this page are the Ancient Lit Pkg and the Medieval Lit Pkg. These are inductive literature studies intended for high school students - as taught by Cyndy at the Francis Schaeffer Study Center.
