Ancient Greece Study Package

The BEST way to study any period of history with children is to give them good biographies to read. Children always enjoy stories about people - From Moses to Jesus to King Arthur to Columbus to George Washington, they love to listen to and read stories about people.

This study of Ancient Greece is built around a collection of 30 biographies of famous men - from Agamemnon & Achilles to Solon and Pericles and Philip and Alexander.

The Greenleaf Study Guide provides vocabulary, geography, and discussion questions for each of the 30 biographies as well as additional background information. It also suggests the best places to use the other books in the study package. Designed for students as young as 3rd grade (if you read the stories out loud) this study can be easily used with students all the way through junior high (6-8 grade). Rob uses it as part of his 9th grade history course (along with Israel, Egypt, & Rome).
