Don't let the words "Grades 5-8" on the cover fool you. Although the workbook can be done very profitably by children as young as grade 5, the inductive approach to the text of the US Constitution is extremely effective with students through grade 12.
The entire text of the US Constitution, all the rules necessary to establish the three branches of government and distribute authority among them, covers precisely four handwritten pages. The 27 amendments can be written out on perhaps two more pages. This fundamental document is worth careful inductive study and this workbook is the ideal organizing text. I use this with my high school seniors for their required one-semester course on government. - Rob Shearer
