The timechart is based on an original Victorian wall chart, published in 1890. It follows the entire history of mankind and shows what was happening concurrently around the world with each nation/group represented by a stream flowing out from the Tower of Babel.

The interior is a single, accordion folded, glued set of sheets which unfold to stretch 15.5 feet from left to right.

This version of the chart is an update/extension of the original Victorian design. The publisher has added three panels to record events from 1890 to the present, sadly, using a distorted time scale which does not match the rest of the chart.

Still, this is an excellent reference for students and teachers of Western History who want to see the big picture.
